Exercise in autumn can pale in comparison to the physical activities you were doing in summer. When the sun is beaming down on you and your friends, you’re out on the boat wakeboarding and skiing, enjoying some cold refreshments, you might look at fall and let out a big sigh.
But here’s the thing. You don’t need to let it get you down! Fall has the benefit of being a little cooler, so you can get outside and enjoy your physical activities without breaking a sweat just from standing around.
Here are 4 great exercises for fall for you to try out!
This is not only a great form of exercise to work out your leg muscles but it is also an amazing way to see the city. Is there a neighbourhood you haven’t checked out before that you’ve always wanted to see? Jumping on a bike and going to explore that corner of the city can be a lot of fun!
Something about fall just screams yoga. Pumpkin spice lattés, yoga pants, the changing leaves. Going to a yoga class is an excellent way to build strength, stretch, and meet new friends. If you have yet to try it out then now is a better time than any!
Hiking will never get old. You are out in nature seeing everything is has to offer. Whether you want to take an easier trail around a lake or go hard and hike the mountain, it will always offer you a fun and fresh new experience. Hiking is an amazing form of exploration and physical activity combined.
Track will never get old. You can throw on those track pants and jacket and hit the field for some sprinting, jogging, jumping, or anything else that floats your boat. Conveniently enough, almost every city has a track you can find for public use. More often that not it is free too! Talk about incentive!
